Referral Fee

Following the initial consultation, all successful referrals from licensed attorneys
will receive a referral fee of 20% of collected attorney fees from the initial retainer in accordance with the rules of the State Bar of California.
clients referred by international law firms, such as Greenberg Traurig and Jones Day®, as well as midsize, small, and solo firms. Because the law surrounding and the practical navigation of distressed-property transactions are such speciality areas of law, it is only natural to refer clients seeking these services to a specialist in the field of real property.  Further, Baron Fine routinely represents referral clients with respect to all manner of entertainment matters, including production legal, business formation, landlord-tenant disputes and other non-litigation matters.  No matter what the reason for the referral, Joshua M. Fine is happy to pay a referral fee to our legal colleagues, and consider a referral the highest compliment we can receive.

                Referral Fee Policy
In accordance with State Bar Rule 2-200 and the other rules of professional conduct, the Law Offices of Joshua M. Fine pays referral fees to licensed attorneys who send their clients to be represented by our office. As required by State Bar rules, all referral fee agreements are fully disclosed in writing to the client, who must first consent to the arrangement. The referral fee arrangement does not increase any fees or the total fee charged to the client.
